1. No Liability
WindCode, its developers, and associated parties accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury, death, cost, expense, or any other consequence (whether direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental) arising from the use of this tool or reliance on its output. Use of this tool is entirely at your own risk.

2. Not a Professional Engineering Assessment
This tool is intended for preliminary wind load estimation only and does not constitute a professional engineering assessment, certification, or recommendation. Results are based on simplified inputs and standard assumptions that may not capture all site-specific conditions.

3. Verification Required
All wind pressure calculations must be independently verified by a suitably qualified structural or wind engineer in accordance with the applicable edition of AS/NZS 1170.2. Output from this tool must not be used as a substitute for professional engineering advice.

4. User Responsibility
The user assumes full responsibility for the application, interpretation, and verification of any results produced by this tool. It is the user's sole responsibility to ensure that any design decisions based on this output are reviewed and approved by a qualified professional engineer.

This tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

TC1	Very exposed open terrain with few or no obstructions.
TC1.5	Open water surfaces subjected to shoaling waves.

TC2.5	Terrain with few trees or isolated obstructions. Developing outer urban.
TC3	Terrain with numerous closely spaced obstructions 3–10 m. Suburban housing.
TC3.5	Intermediate between TC3 and TC4. Transitioning to dense urban.
TC4	Terrain with numerous large, high (10–30 m) constructions. Large city centres.

Terrain category is not set (TBS). Use Auto-detect or click zones on the satellite map to set per-direction terrain categories.

M_s — Shielding Multiplier Clause 4.3

Shielding is not automatically calculated by this tool. M_s is conservatively set to 1.0 (no shielding benefit). For shielding assessment per Section 4.3, a detailed survey of upwind buildings is required.
